My first book, Charlottesville: A Contemporary Portrait, was published in March 2002. This 160-page book contains full color photographs showcasing the city of Charlottesville and the surrounding communities and natural wonders. The city's history and its heritage, its people and its cultural diversity, its neighborhoods, arts and entertainment, special events, places of interest, and inspiring natural landscape are illustrated throughout with breathtaking color images.

The book also contains a section devoted to local businesses, hospitals, universities, and other organizations that collectively illustrate the city's role as a regional commercial, educational, and recreational hub.
